This Privacy Policy describes how Asatwo Pty Ltd ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the UNRECOGNIZABLE mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Stored Only on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us:

• Your name and personal goal (entered during onboarding)
• Future Her Letters and daily writing
• Selected apps and time protection settings
• Night Boundary schedule preferences
• App preferences and notification settings
• Journaling history and UNRECOGNIZABLE Report data

1.2 Screen Time and FamilyControls Data

UNRECOGNIZABLE uses Apple's FamilyControls and DeviceActivity frameworks to enforce app limits. This works entirely on your device:

• Which apps you choose to limit are stored locally in your device's App Group (a sandboxed shared storage between UNRECOGNIZABLE and its system extensions)
• Screen time usage data processed by these frameworks is managed by Apple's operating system and never leaves your device
• We cannot read or access your screen time data — the blocking logic runs in Apple's system extension sandbox

1.3 Information Processed by Third Parties

When you make a purchase, payment is processed by Apple:

• Apple App Store: Handles all subscription billing and management. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details. We do not have access to your payment information.

1.4 Notifications

If you grant notification permission, UNRECOGNIZABLE schedules local notifications on your device (morning and evening reminders, night boundary alerts). These are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification content is sent through our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

To be explicit about what we do not collect:

• Your journal entries or their contents
• Which apps you have chosen to limit
• Your screen time usage data
• Your location
• Your contacts or address book
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry
• Advertising identifiers or tracking pixels
• Any personal identifiers beyond what you choose to enter in the App

3. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect your data, we do not use it. All processing — generating prompts, enforcing limits, displaying your UNRECOGNIZABLE Report — happens locally on your device using data you control.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. There is no data to share.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Local Storage

Your data is stored on your device using Apple's standard local storage frameworks. It is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, hardware encryption).

5.2 App Group Storage

UNRECOGNIZABLE uses an App Group (a sandboxed storage container) to share your selected app limits and time protection setting between the main app and its system extensions (DeviceActivity monitor and widget). This data never leaves your device.

5.3 iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your app data may be included in your device backup according to your iCloud settings. This is managed by Apple, not by us. You can exclude UNRECOGNIZABLE from iCloud Backup in your device settings.

5.4 Data Deletion

Deleting UNRECOGNIZABLE from your device permanently removes all locally stored data, including your journal, settings, and screen time preferences.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Because your data lives on your device, you have full control at all times:

• Access: All your data is visible within the App
• Edit: Update your name, goal, and settings at any time in Settings
• Delete: Remove the App to permanently delete all stored data
• Screen Time permission: Revoke FamilyControls access at any time via iOS Settings → Screen Time
• Notifications: Revoke notification permission at any time via iOS Settings → Notifications → UNRECOGNIZABLE

7. Children's Privacy

UNRECOGNIZABLE is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child is using the App inappropriately, please contact us.

8. International Users

UNRECOGNIZABLE is available internationally. Since your data is stored locally on your device, it remains within your jurisdiction and is subject to your local data protection laws.

8.1 European Economic Area (EEA)

If you are located in the EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, GDPR obligations regarding data controller processing do not apply to your use of UNRECOGNIZABLE. Your data remains entirely under your control on your own device.

8.2 California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have rights regarding personal information. Since we do not collect personal information, there is no data for us to disclose, sell, or delete on your behalf.

8.3 Australia

We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988. As we do not collect personal information, APP obligations regarding collection, use, and disclosure do not apply to your use of UNRECOGNIZABLE.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use of UNRECOGNIZABLE after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
