Welcome to UNRECOGNIZABLE. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the UNRECOGNIZABLE mobile application ("App") provided by Asatwo Pty Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using UNRECOGNIZABLE, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using UNRECOGNIZABLE, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• All information you provide is accurate and current

2. Description of Service

UNRECOGNIZABLE is a journaling and screen time management application designed to help you:

• Write daily Future Her Letters prompted by Future Her — a reflection of your future self
• Set daily time protection limits for chosen apps using Apple's Screen Time technology
• Receive daily messages from Future Her via widget on your home screen and lock screen
• Enable Night Boundary to block selected apps during sleep hours
• Track your journaling consistency and progress via The UNRECOGNIZABLE Report

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Subscription Plans

UNRECOGNIZABLE offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

• Annual (no trial): $24.99 USD per year
• Annual (with 1-week free trial): $29.99 USD per year after free trial
• Monthly: available in the App
• Weekly: available in the App
• Weekly (with 3-day free trial): $8.99 USD per week after free trial

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Local currency pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.

3.2 Payment Terms

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings

3.3 Free Trials

Where a free trial is offered, no payment is taken during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

3.4 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. Screen Time and FamilyControls

UNRECOGNIZABLE uses Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time frameworks to enforce app limits. By granting Screen Time permission, you understand that:

• UNRECOGNIZABLE will apply app shields to selected applications when your daily time protection limit is reached
• Night Boundary will block selected apps during your chosen sleep window
• Shields applied by UNRECOGNIZABLE persist until midnight or until you modify your settings in the App
• Screen Time data processed by these features remains on your device and is not transmitted to us

Granting Screen Time permission is optional. Core journaling features remain available without it.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Journal

You retain full ownership of all Future Her Letters and personal content you create in UNRECOGNIZABLE. Your journal data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

5.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use UNRECOGNIZABLE only for its intended purpose of personal journaling and screen time management. You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or harms others.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

UNRECOGNIZABLE, including all Future Her messages, prompts, design, features, and functionality, is owned by Asatwo Pty Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal use in accordance with these Terms.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial or unauthorised purpose
• Reproduce or redistribute Future Her message content outside the App

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Not a Medical or Mental Health Service

UNRECOGNIZABLE is a journaling and self-improvement tool. It is not a mental health service, medical app, or substitute for professional support. If you are struggling with your mental health, please seek help from a qualified professional.

7.2 "As Is" Basis

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

7.3 Screen Time Limitations

App blocking through Apple's Screen Time framework requires Screen Time to be enabled on your device. We cannot guarantee blocking behaviour in all device configurations. Users can bypass app limits through iOS Settings — this is a system-level limitation, not a flaw in UNRECOGNIZABLE.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asatwo Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use UNRECOGNIZABLE.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time. Cancel your subscription via your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use of UNRECOGNIZABLE after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
